Cristiano Ronaldo was issued a 30-day suspension and a £215 penalty by the Portuguese Football Federation. Initially, he asked for the punishment without any reduction. However, later he secured a reduction in his penalty following a punitive investigation. The incident was triggered by Ronaldo's walkout following a argument with head coach Jorge Jesus.
